Chef Jin Bai Wan (Xu Hao) is known for her outstanding culinary skills and vibrant personality, but she wasn't always a chef – she used to be known as Chu, the martial world’s top female assassin, until she lost her memory. In her new life, she meets Qu Zheng (Wanyan Luo Rong), a beautiful and elegant master qin player, who expresses romantic interest in Bai Wan, and the two eventually build a relationship with each other. However, Qu Zheng has his own agenda that he keeps hidden from Bai Wan. As new and old threats come to confront them, Qu Zheng does his best to protect Bai Wan, but his secrets begin to catch up with him. Can Bai Wan and Qu Zheng come to understand each other and unite to confront the impending evil before it threatens the world? This 2024 Chinese drama, directed by Wu Qiang and Man Chuang Chuang, was based on a novel by Nan Jian Qiu Tuan.
